Shalom Jerusalem’s Yehuda Glick discusses the Book of Lamentations chappter 1.

The Book of Lamentations is read on the darkest day of the Hebrew year, the 9th of Av. It is the day that many of the most horrible tragedies befell Jerusalem and the Jews, including the destruction of both Temples.
